FRANCESCA CASTELLANO: WHO IS SHE?

«She is a motivated woman with high aspirations who believes that no dream is too big.

She was born in a small town in the south of Italy and has lived in five different countries, whereshe has broadened her horizons, discovered new cultures, and built herself. Francesca believes that Fashion is a force of good and for good. Fashion wields a lot of influence».

WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO PURSUE A CAREER IN FASHION DESIGN?

«Since I was a little girl, I perceived Fashion as an instrument to enhance women’s beauty.Whenever I was wearing a new look, I felt so excited, really happy, and I realized that I wanted to make more and more women feeling the same way once becoming an adult».

WHAT MOTIVATES A FASHION DESIGNER?

«Everyone, in my opinion, has their own reasons. My desire to make it happen and live a life whereI get to do what I love every single day is what is driving me to achieve my goals. The creation process, the selection of fabrics, the fittings, the marketing strategy, the team meetings, etc…make me waking up every morning with excitement. We don’t create dress, we create dreams».

DEFINE SUCCESS

«Success is appreciating ourselves for the hardships, successes, and disappointments we went through  in pursuit of a vision that no one else can see. Society defines success in how much money you earn every month, the house you own, the car you drive, the type of clothes you wear. Most ofthe people have a materialistic perception of what success is. There is nothing wrong with that. I admit that initially that was my definition of success. But then I realized that having a passion, a talent, a vision and the courage to fight for it, is priceless».
